We were honored to deliver a joint talk at the CEDEC 2024 conference with Ken Taki (Sr. Manager, Japan at SideFX), discussing how Houdini can help developers create games from indie to AAA scale. We also explore how the new Heterogeneous Volumes in Unreal Engine 5 make it easier to render high-quality ocean simulation caches from Houdini. Additionally, we compare Houdini with alternatives like Blender's Geometry Nodes, evaluating their performance and visual quality.
